Membership Criteria
Members are those individuals who have been duly received by the CPN Board of Directors. To be eligible for membership, a candidate must be an executive, a business owner or licensed professional in a business or profession related to the construction industry or a government employee or elected official.

From each geographical region in North Carolina (Western, Piedmont and Eastern), not more than two individuals, firms, companies, or other employers in a Member Category may be represented by the membership. Not more than one individual employed by or affiliated with the same firm, company, or other employer per region engaged in the Same Member Category may concurrently be members in CPN (it is noted that due to a by-laws amendment December 6, 2001 - only one member per region per company per category is allowed - it is noted that active members as of 12/6.01 that may have been affected by the by laws amendment were grandfathered). Not more than 3 members of the same firm, company may be CPN members on a statewide basis.

Membership participation shall be by invitation only, upon nomination and approval by the Board of Directors.
