Annual Conference

The CPN Annual Conference takes place each spring during the month of April as mandated in the by-laws. This weekend event serves many purposes that include: election of officers for the coming year, “state of the association” recap from the outgoing president and the goals set for the coming year by the in-coming president. Another exciting component of the Annual Conference is the presentation of the prestigious Star Awards. This is also an opportunity where members and their spouses enjoy time with old friends and make new friends, both personal and professional, in a relaxed resort setting.

The 2012 CPN Annual Conference will be held at Sea Pines Plantation and the Inn at Harbour Town in Hilton Head, South Carolina.

Attendees will kick-off the event with a White Hot Friday Night, including a reception to welcome CPN new members, a silent auction, and a White Linen party featuring a Hot Jazz trio.

Saturday morning will be spent immersed in educational and informative seminars relevant to today’s construction industry including a review of the nominees for the coveted 2012 Star Awards.

Spend Saturday afternoon in a round-robin tennis tournament or teeing off on the world renowned Harbour Town Golf Links – home to the Heritage Tournament.  For the less competitive, Hilton Head boasts waterskiing, parasailing, horseback riding, and more. 

End the day with a refreshing libation at the Legal Reception followed by the glamorous Black Tie Gala featuring live music by The Vision Band and the presentation of 2012’s CPN Star Awards.
